Mr. Udaya Kantha, Minister of Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council has arranged according to his promise to People of Algama to repair this main road. Unfortunately, it is still not executed and appears to be another White Elephant. While UNP & JVP leaders are taking these issues and use innocent people for their political gain. Villagers are going behind these parties begging a road. There is neither a proper political approach nor remedial action for the burning issue from the present government yet.Please give your ideas about the poor performance of Sabaragamuwa Provincial Road Maintenance.

This Lake is close to Algma Central Collage. But very poor attentions seem to be.
Meny thousands of people working over their and over 2000 school boys and girls working over their at all.
If people having some hart problems then no solutions fore them. Such people cannot bring to Hospital safly on such roads.
This is real situation for pregnet ladies as well.
Please save algama people as soon as quick.

25 years back Algama road so good than now.Unfortunately i cannot daily travel to home reason is my vehicle can damge due to such road
This road is now just like a half dried so called oya.the main reason for this is lack of proper drainage system.for the period of 12 years major repair has not been done.minor repair also done only when election is scheduled to hold.Now no minor repair will be a solution for this. on the other hand no election seems coming in near future.This is a pathetic condition for the people who are living around.These people are not only from Algama from 12 villages because Algama is the center of 12 villages around. nearly 1000 families are facing this hard experience.
Responsible people for this matter should pay their attention immediately regarding the re-construction of Algama - Nittabuwa
road & Algama -Warakapola road via Horagasmankada.
Today , people in the area have faced to very serious situation because of this damaged road.Algama hospital also has faced into serious situation due to this damaged road,i.e.in an emmergency , a seriuos patient has to be transfered to Wathupitiwala or Warakapola hospitals. But from both way it is impossible to take a patient along this road.
So people , who are responsible for this matter should pay their attention to repair this road immediately.
